Merry Christmas Eve from Makers of Care

Merry Christmas!

Your generosity helped make our annual Caregiver Christmas Brunch unforgettable. This season can be a challenging season for Caregivers as they care for a sick or dependent loved one and wonder if this will be their last. Our wonderful volunteers ensured that Caregivers who arrived weary and burdened left feeling connected, supported, and seen—knowing they were not alone.

A special thank you to Le Schroeder and Sandy Williams for prepping all the food, Ivette Kershaw for the beautiful Photo Booth, Michelle Cadiz for the table decor, Matt & Mary McGonegle for the spacious venue, and Georgia Faircloth for providing a holiday gift for every attendee (all 40 of them!). Stacey Kelly donated the stunning poinsettias and The Olive Branch boutique is where we found such pretty raffle gifts. Suzie Lackey wrapped all the gifts! THANK YOU ALL!

Not pictured are all those who donate every month and make events like this possible. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! This event is a glimpse of what every donation makes possible.

Surrounded by joy, fellowship, and God’s love, Caregivers experienced a moment of respite and joy they desperately needed. Laughter filled the air, and we overheard multiple Caregivers saying, “We feel so spoiled.”

As we celebrate the holiday, remember the caregivers who still need us. With just a few days left in the year, your year-end contributions are helping us create a community of HOPE and friendship for Caregivers who tirelessly support their sick, disabled, or dying loved ones.

Together, we provide the encouragement they need to stay strong in their faith and on their journey. Your support is a tangible reminder to Caregivers that God loves them.

Build community with us by becoming a monthly supporter or giving a year-end donation.

We see you, we hear you, we care.

The Church Was Meant to Be a Family—Not a Club Somewhere along the way, the church started looking more like the world—divided by age, interests, and life stages. Youth groups over here. Uniting generations to restore human dignity! Young people are stepping up—not just to “help” the older...

A Story of Impact A few weeks ago, we partnered with Redemption Tempe church during a Serve Day to bring help and hope to 17 caregivers and seniors in need. One participant, a woman whose husband is in a care facility, needed help with tasks she could no longer manage independently. But what truly lit up her heart wasn’t the completed chores—it was the kindness of the two men who visited her. They sat with her, listened to her story, shared a cookie and drink, and reminded her that she...
